Google data history for a specific user

Google

This is micro-view of all Google related activity.  It is very similar to the Google tab previously explained, except that it will only show data specific to this user.

Google Searches

In this sub-section you will see a comprehensive list of all Google searches that this user has completed.

  • This timeframe can be changed with the drop down box, to show results from the beginning of time, today, last 3 days, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month (from the beginning of the month to the current day in that month), last month, or any customizable date range you would like.
  • Switch between “50” or “100” results per page with this drop down box.
  • Download a CSV of the information by pressing Download CSV on the top right hand side in the blue bar.
  • Each listing shows the search term in the gray bar and the time searched underneath.
  • To the right is a blue button saying View Search that will open a new tab with that search.
Google Docs

In this sub-section you will see a comprehensive list of all Google documents that this user has viewed.

  • This timeframe can be changed with the drop down box, to show results from the beginning of time, today, last 3 days, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month (from the beginning of the month to the current day in that month), last month, or any customizable date range you would like.
  • Switch between “50” or “100” results per page with this drop down box.
  • Download a CSV of the information by pressing Download CSV on the top right hand side in the blue bar.
  • Each listing shows  the name of the document and the date and time  it was accessed.
  • Clicking on the name of the document will bring up a list of users who have also opened that document, and the amount of time each user spent in it.
YouTube

In this sub-section you will see a comprehensive list of all YouTube videos that this user has watched.

  • This timeframe can be changed with the drop down box, to show results from the beginning of time, today, last 3 days, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month (from the beginning of the month to the current day in that month), last month, or any customizable date range you would like.
  • Switch between “50” or “100” results per page with this drop down box.
  • Download a CSV of the information by pressing Download CSV on the top right hand side in the blue bar.
  • Each listing shows the video that was viewed, the category of video (which corresponds to the categories listed in the YouTube Filter) and the date and time viewed.
  • You have the ability to blacklist (red, closed lock) or whitelist (green, open lock) the video on the right hand side.
  • Clicking on the video title will allow you to watch the video, see other users who have viewed the video, and how many times they viewed the video.
Apps & Extensions

In this sub-section you will see a comprehensive list of all Apps & Extensions that this user has downloaded.

  • Download a CSV of the information by selecting Download CSV on the top right hand side in the blue bar.
  • Designate between Apps and Extensions with the icons on the left
  • Provided in this view is the name of the App or Extension (which you can select to open a new tab to the chrome store web-page for that App or Extension), and a description of the App or Extension.
  • Select the red Blacklist button to blacklist the App or Extension from your managed Chromebooks.  Blacklisting an App or Extension will remove it from any user account within that profile that has downloaded it as well as prevent any future downloads.
