Monitoring YouTube Activity for your Organization

GoGuardian provides you with an easy interface for monitoring YouTube activity within your organization.  Start by navigating to Google > YouTube in the dashboard to see how your users are spending their time on YouTube.

When first opening the tab, you will see the recent videos watched by users in your organization.  You can filter this by "Most Popular" using the dropdown at the top of the page.  The timeframe of the information shown can be changed with the drop down box, showing videos watched for either today, the last 3 days, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month (from the beginning of the month to the current day in that month), last month, or any customizable date range you would like.  You can add the video directly to the blacklist or whitelist of your YouTube filter by selecting the red or green lock buttons, respectively.  To download the log in a CSV format, click the Download CSV button on the top right hand side of the screen located in the blue bar.

Selecting the video will display the video and the list of viewers who have watched it and time the video was watched.  You can view the video to determine its appropriateness and you can select a user below to be directed to that user's history to investigate further.
