GoGuardian gives admins the ability to see what Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides that your users are working on. If you navigate to Google > Google Docs, you can see all of the documents that users in your organization are accessing.
From this page, you can see the title of the Doc, Sheet, or Slide, the date and time that it was accessed, and the user who accessed it. To sort by “Most Recent” or “Popular” documents, click the drop down box located under “Recent Google Docs”. The timeframe of the information shown can be changed with the drop down box, showing either today, the last 3 days, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month (from the beginning of the month to the current day in that month), last month, or any customizable date range you would like. To download the log in a CSV format, click the Download CSV button on the top right hand side of the screen located in the blue bar.
Selecting a document from the list will display a list of users who have accessed that document and the time that they accessed it. Note: GoGuardian does not provide the ability to view the content of Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
